Hello from High Country Angler. Figured it was time to give a fishing report. Tennessee fly fishing has been great. The Watauga River and South Holston River have both been great. The float trips on the Watauga River have been the most productive trips to take due to the amount of
water you cover and limited access to the river. We are having most of our success with nymph rigs and some dry fly fishing. The riffles are where we are concentrating the most. The temperatures and water levels have been fantastic this spring and should continue to promote great fishing. I still have some dates open for May and throughout the summer. Give us a call or drop us a line if you have any questions or date(s) in mind. Be sure to check out our new website and new pictures. The home page has a pretty cool video as well. Thanks very much to all the great folks who have fished with me and look forward to doing it again.Sincerely, Evan Dowdy http://www.highcountryangler.com |
