In the tying classes beginners actually learn to tie flies, and we work hands on with them to show the proper techniques. We show the Entomology part of fly tying and what these flies actually represent in the aquatic world. We show all the different materials available to tiers, and explain why certain materials are used to tie flies.

   Our casting schools are a big hit. We show the group several different casting techniques and each different casting style. We need a large open area to demonstrate and practice the casting. A big lawn is usually the best place to practice with this big school group. We provide all the necessary equipment for a day of learning the fine art of fly casting.

he group fishing trips are done on the Watauga River or the South Holston River in Tennessee and other rivers in North Carolina. These rivers are great for the large corporate groups. We can accommodate large groups up to 20 people. When doing a large group or corporate trip, we use several guides making it a better ratio of guides to clients. So, if you're looking for either trout or smallmouth fly fishing for a large corporate group or just a big group of friends, we can get you started catching fish on these big rivers with room for everyone.
