Hello Everyone,
Of course the fishing has been great and it will continue. We
have caught fish on dries and nymphs. I am finding the fish
on the Watauga River looking at terrestrials and Sulphurs (size
18) on the South Holston. Tandem nymph rigs should be used in
the rifles and moving water. Have been using an attractor as
the lead fly and a small dropper (22 tan soft hackle, 18 sulphur
soft hackle) when nymphing. Be sure to check out the
new pictures of our May/June trips. Days are booked up in
June, but still have availability for July. Thanks and look
forward to fishing with you.
Thanks,
Evan Dowdy
