Hello Everyone. Boy we have been busy with trips and tying a bunch of flies so haven't had much time to update the site. The fishing has just been great on every trip. The drought conditions that we are facing does not effect the tailwaters that we fish due to the flow of the water being controlled by a dam. The waters are very cold and at great fishing levels which means the trout are fat and happy. We are averaging 40-70 fish on the water depending on the experience of the angler. The float trips on the Watauga River are perfect for beginners all the way to the elite. I got my camera wet during the duration of the guide season and didn't get as many big fish pictures as I should have but trust me, this is one fishery that always fishes good year round. Be sure to check out a few of the pictures of our trips for June-August. Starting this year we will begin a winter time package that is low in price. The new pricing will start Novmeber 15th and go through March 15th. Enjoy the river with little to no crowds. For a one person float trip it will cost $225 and a two person float trip will cost $250. A one person wade trip will cost $150 and a two person wade trip will cost $195. This will include 6 hours of fishing, snacks, drinks, equipment and flies and will apply to the South Holston and Watauga Rivers. Thanks again for all the trips and repeat clients.
